News and Announcements
It’s National Library Week!
To celebrate National Library Week, the AUNE Library is raffling off two $20 gift cards to Toadstool Books. The winners will be announced by email on Friday, 4/18. We also have a new display of staff recommendations; come see what your peers are reading.
Spring is here!
Okay, it’s been spring for a few weeks, but it finally feels like spring in New Hampshire! Now is a great time to explore local parks and trails, and the AUNE Library has plenty of guidebooks. Interested in birding? Check out Sibley’s Birding Basics. Want to identify wildflowers? We have Peterson’s Field Guide to Wildflowers. Interested in exploring the rail trails, the mountain trails, or venturing a little farther afield? The AUNE Library has these guides and much, much more!
What is gray literature? Gray literature is the general term used to describe documents that are not controlled by commercial publishers. These include government documents, technical reports, raw data, fact sheets, and much, much more. Much of it is considered scholarly, and it’s often readily available online. Due to its ephemeral nature, however, it can sometimes be hard to locate. For more information about gray literature, including how to define it and where to find it, check out this research guide!
